Personal Statement
As a graduate of geography and experienced customer service advisor, seeking a role
as a customer care representative in your organization. Recent achievements with my
current employer include the implementation of an innovative new customer friendly
approach. Determined to improve proficiency by means of acquiring skills necessary to
efficiently contribute to policy-making and advocacy to an organization committed to
excellence.
Key Skills
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word and Power Point learnt from
various job experiences.
 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal gained through my
experience as an office manager and charity home fundraising.
 Good leadership skills, efficient organizational skills and highly enthusiastic with
great empathy, diplomacy and professionalism established through various
customer service roles.
 Excellent proficiency in the use of Maestro and ICOMS applications.
 Through various critical analysis essays, gained the ability to work independently
using own initiatives with logical and critical analytical skills.

Customer Retentions Advisor - Virgin Media, UK
(August 2015 – Jan 2016)
Achievements and responsibilities:
• As Customer Retentions I was trained to deliver a high standard of customer
service to our customers using ICOMS and Maestro applications.
• Ensuring that phone inquiries are answered within 30 seconds on the first ring.
• Directing inbound calls to the appropriate department in relation to managing
contracts, payment plans and technical support where needed.
• Ensuring that complaints are escalated to team managers, and feedback are
dealt with in accordance with Virgin Media corporate policy.
• Information about the full range of Virgin Media products and services is clearly
and confidently articulated to customers.
• Attend staff team meetings regularly, to both gain and impart knowledge about
our customers, products and services.
• Manage information received in compliance with British Council’s information
