Political parties is a group of well-organized
like minded people who work together as a
unite to influence the view of public opinion,
context election to gain control over the
government.
Member of political parties share same views,
ideas and objective.
3. Different political parties compete with each
other , with views to influence the public
policies and opinion with other philospher,
ideals and objective.
Winning parties run the government and
opposition parties keep close watch at the
functioning of the government.
4. According to Lord Bruce
“Political parties is an organized groups
whose membership is voluntary and who
make struggle to accquire political powers.”
5. Political parties is indispensable for the
working of modern democratic government.
The importance of political parties lies in the
facts that democracies cannot be function
without the existence of political parties.
6. UNDERDEVELOPED POLITICAL
PARTIES:
Political parties in Pakistan have
remained underdeveloped courtesy the
low level of development of Pakistani
society authoritarian political culture and
an imbalance of power between the
powerful state and weak political
institutions.

The working of democracy and the

related or inter dependent .

11. INTRODUCTION:
The PPP was launched at its founding convention held
in Lahore on November 30 and December 01, 1967.
At the same meeting, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was elected
as its chairman.
Among the expressed goals of the party were the
establishment of an "egalitarian democracy" and the
"application of socialistic ideas to realize economic and
social justice".
The slogan of PPP is Roti, Kapra, Makan(Food,
Clothes, Shelter).
13. INTRODUCTION:
PML is the oldest political party in Pakistan.
Before the partition the PML is the All India Muslim
League.
All India Muslim League come into being 1885.
With the passage of time it became the most popular
party in India.
On 30 December 1906, All India Muslim League was
formed Nawab-Waqar-ul Mulk appointed as a president
& Nawab-Mohsin-ul-Mulk was appointed as the first
general secretary.
14. When Zia-ul-Haq dismissed the government of
Muhammad Khan Junejo. Junejo lost their power party
divided into two groups.
1. PML(Junejo)
2. PML(Nawaz Shareef)
Nawaz Shareef elect as a chief minister of punjab in
1885.
16. INTRODUCTION:
Imran khan leads Pakistan Tehreef-e-Insaf under the
slogan: “CHANGE”.
On 25 April 1996, in Lahore the PTI a social
democratic and Third way political movement, was
founded by Imran Khan.
The PTI boycotted the 2008 elections but became more
politically active by 2011.
The PTI claims to represent all Pakistanis regardless of
religion, ethnically, language or residence.
The Party emerged as country’s second most popular
party in 2013 elections.
17. PTI current hold 32 seats in national Assembly.
It is currently ruling a party in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa.
18. Characteristics of political parties
The following are the characteristics of
political parties:
There exists a great deal of agreement among
the members of a political party on the
fundamental issues of the state.
Political parties have some degree of
organization, discipline and permanence.
They seek to achieve their objectives through
constitutional means.
19. The political parties aim at safeguarding and
promoting national interest.
The primary aim of every political party is to
attain political power as a means to achieve their
objectives.
The top leadership of the party remains
responsible for formulating and furthering policy
decisions.
Every political parties have agenda when we will
come to the power to resolve their issuses to
fullfill their promises.
