The nature of supervisions
Meetings with Supervisors - The nature of it is to allow you to think, discuss and question your own
understanding and assumptions about your research. During the meeting, you should have the
opportunity to check the EE assessment criteria, to work on your research question, to consider reading
material availability for your research question (this might mean to re-adjust the research question, which
is perfectly valid), to discuss interesting findings, to deliver your Outline Research Plan, to reflect
purposely on the process three times during the EE period.

not have this flexibility. Recognise and assess where you are and how to address it with your
parents.
