Not everyone was in favor of the building of casinos.
Although the Casinos would bring economic prosperity to
Singapore, the people thought that gambling itself is a
social ill and would break families apart. Thus the
government introduced a $100 entry fee into the casino for
all Singaporeans to deter them from gambling
Hard-core gamblers would also be barred from the casinos
as the government had introduced a policy to allow family
members to black-list his this gambler’s name and ban him
from the casino. Thus solving the people’s worries.

can be seen

It also signifies globalization of Singapore as it is capable
of attracting famous global brands like these here. We
are also thus connected to the world.
10. Motion Sensor fan
Anticipate change and stay relevant and leadership is
key
Singapore has limited natural resources but abundant
light energy as it is sunny all year round. Thus the
government had decided to build this motion sensor fan
to save electricity and make use of that abundant light
energy. In addition, it also save costs.

Wide open field beside the integrated resorts
This allows tourists and people to use it as a recreational
space for example flying kites or have a picnic while
enjoying the scenery. However, this wastes a lot of space
thus the government went on to build ‘’down’’. The field
may seem like a waste of space but it actually serves to
attract tourists and is aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
Singapore is a small country and has limited land space
thus Mrt is built below this plot of land to conserve land
and not to just waste that space for an open field.

Singapore has limited water supply thus is dependent on
Malaysia for a fresh supply of water.
However, the government is able to anticipate change
and thus uses reservoirs to catch rainwater and send it
to NEWater which produces desalinated and fresh water
Water is purified using high technology dual membrane
and thus it ensures that we will be self sufficient after
the water contract with Malaysia has ended.
Besides these, it also provides space for people and
tourists to enjoy recreational activities.
