3. Mission Sustainability
• Mobius Foundation in partnership with the
WION channel is taking the vision of the Indian
Government forward with its new year-long
initiative ‘Mission Sustainability- Population V/s
Planet’.
• Overpopulation is among the most
fundamental issues responsible for increasing
global warming, deforestation, pollution,
wildlife habitat loss, and accelerated depletion
of natural resources.
4. Khushaal Parivar Diwas
• Mobius Foundation celebrated the Happy
Family Day or Khushaal Parivar Diwas on 21st
January 2021. In sync with the U.P.
government’s initiative to promote Family
Planning, the foundation organised camps at
Trivediganj CHC and Kaisarganj CHC in
Barabanki and Bahraich district respectively.
• The event was a resounding success with
families stepping up to learn more about family
planning and adopt contraceptives measures.
5. International Conference
on Sustainable Education
(ICSE)
• The international conference provides a global
platform for world dignitaries, and intellects to
address the current and emerging
sustainability challenges and a need for
Education for Sustainability (ESD), Climate
Change Education (CCE) and Environmental
Education (EE) in the current course
curriculum.
6. Project Aakar
• Project Aakar is aimed at tackling the problem
of increasing population in India. Keeping in
line with the Govt. Of India’s initiative to
stabilize population, the program is designed
to burst age-old myths, changing mindset and
promoting the use of modern contraceptives
among couples. Piloted in Uttar Pradesh, the
program educates young couples on the
importance of reproductive health and family
planning.
7. Gyan Anant Vidyalaya
• As a Sustainable School we will organize the
learning around the pre-requisites of identity,
aspiration, engagement, and experiential
learning: Students will be actively encouraged
to cultivate their personal identity as global
citizens who contribute to a sustainable future.
8. Project Sanjeevani
• On 7th June 2018, World Environment Day, a
mass tree plantation drive was undertaken
under the Sanjeevani initiative to increase the
green cover in the state of Haryana. In a bid to
reduce pollution and carbon footprint, over
5000 saplings were in partnership with
numerous schools, farmers, self-help groups,
Kisan club members, and NGOs. The saplings
are taken care of by individual groups that are
monitored with a structured monitoring system.
9. Mobile Health Camps
• Responding to the need for basic health
facilities in the community, Mobius Foundation
deployed 48 Mobile Health Camps in the
remote areas of Sonipat and Panipat. The
initiative successfully created awareness of
healthcare and hygiene among farmers,
women, youth, and students.
10. Eco Toilets
• As per 2011 census, over 69.3% of rural
households in India did not have a toilet. The
Eco Toilet project was started to overcome
open defecation problems and offer rural
households access to adequate sanitation,
clean water and proper sewage infrastructure.
• Eco toilets are a low-cost option for safe and
hygienic sanitation. The self-cleansing toilets
are low maintenance and require less amount
of land to build.
11. World Environment School
• Spread over a hundred acres across the
beautiful hills of Coorg, the school’s focus is to
build strong environmental and moral values
among its students. In this endeavour, the
school follows the International Baccalaureate
programme to turn its students into global
citizens. The curriculum also mandates social
responsibility and has made mandatory the
recycling & re-use of biodegradable products.
