Cell Broadcast Centre (CBC) and Operator/HSS based Subscriber Tracing (TSR) in MME
Description Cell Broadcast Centre (CBC) was a solution for the special requirement of an
Earthquake and Tsunami warning system (ETWS). It utilizes the existing
interfaces between UE and MME in control plane. Additionally the MME is
connected to the CBC via the SBc interface.
Subscriber tracing provides detailed information at the call level for the UE
(user). This is done to measure the performance of network elements as well as
the quality of services given to the user while using LTE network. Subscriber is
also traced on demand of the user itself if it is not getting the good or
appropriate quality of services from the LTE network. Operator can also trace
some of the random users to check the quality of network.
Contribution  Performed requirement analysis and High level designing.
 Participated in creating System integration Test Plan for the LTE-MME.
 Responsible for coding and Testing of major modules.
 Handling of Field Testing Issues, finding and fixing them.
