a communication agency, provides strategic,
media, and creative solutions to clients in India
and internationally.
The company was founded in 1973
and is based in Mumbai, India with additional
offices in Delhi, Kolkata, and Chennai.
5. Founders
One evening in 1973, three leading
stalwarts of advertising came together
to discuss the state of creativity in
advertising.
The three people,
Diwan Arun Nanda,
Ajit Balakrishnan,
Mohammed Khan,
came up with a game plan – to start
their own advertising agency,
Rediffusion.

Navonil has headed the planning
function across clients like Hindustan
Unilever, Levi’ s, Pepsi, Godrej, Madura Garments, ITC, United
Spirits Limited (USL), United Breweries (UB), ING Bank and
Landmark Group to name a few.
Navonil is also an occasional
faculty at ISB Hyderabad, IIM Bangalore and IIM

Jaideep Mahajan aka JD comes
with a 100 plus International

work to his credit.
His recently launched Dabur Vatika
Shampoo ‘Brave & Beautiful’ campaign
was one of the most talked about
2014-15 campaign in India.
He launched Airtel in Sri Lanka
with outstanding results – 75,000
bookings made on the day of
launch.
JD is a Bachelor of Fine Arts –
Applied Art, College of Art, and
Delhi and did his Surface Designing
Program from NIFT Delhi.

target youth for its popular brand, Rooh Afja Fusion.

position in this category. It has
been offering the brightest range
of Eveready LED products that
offers maximum quantum of
light per watt.
17. Nilanjan Dasgupta- Executive Creative Director, said,
“The creative challenge was to stand out in the clutter in 5
secs. So we took sunflower route while differentiating
between ordinary LEDs and Eveready LEDs. It also made
sense because our USP has been the “Brightest
LED.”

behind this campaign was to interestingly portray the
product promise of it being the Brightest LED , connect
the product with daily life and with Akshay Kumar
as the brand ambassador it was only an advantage to
create a little humour in the communication.

The ‘Make in India Week’
which is being held in Mumbai will
be showcasing India's potential in
the manufacturing sector.
The campaign for this mega event
has been conceived by Rediffusion
Y&R. For the ‘Make in India
Week’ campaign,
Rediffusion created a unique
symbol – The Laman Diya, a
representative of auspicious
beginnings, peace, prosperity and
growth.

21. Maharashtra has always been the front-runner
when it comes to industrial development.
In order to build the ‘Magnetic Maharashtra’
brand and promote Maharashtra as the leading
investment destination for potential investors
globally, Rediffusion conceived and created a
unique campaign.
It pulls the world to itself because of its
capabilities be it power, land, people or
connectivity. It is indeed a magnet. The brand
film offers to its investors and concludes with
the line “Unnati ka Savera, Magnetic
Maharashtra yeh Mera”.
