Objective:
To enhance the level of communication skills of my students and train them for GD/PI, so that they
get the best possible placements and to utilize maximum of my knowledge, learning & experience for
the benefit of the students & institution.
Education:

from a convent school, from class-6th
to 12th
from GIC, Lalitpur (69% in

-1976) in Hindi medium and Graduation ( Philosophy, Political Science, Medieval
History -52%) and post graduation (Philosophy -57%) from the University of Allahabad, Allahabad in
English medium.(1979 and 1982 respectively)
1986
- Shifted back to Lalitpur (Home town) after studies from Allahabad & sat up my own Small Scale Industrial
unit but industrially Lalitpur being a very backward area, it could not survive.
Experience:
Taking own assignments of spoken English & related classes since I left Astral Institute.
2011- 14
- Worked a faculty of communication in Astral Institute of Technology & Research, Indore. Had been taking
classes of ‘Communication skills’ (BE-103) & ‘Communicative language’ (BE-206) for Engineering 1st
year
students (CS, IT, MECH, CIVIL, EC branches), and classes of GD/PI for senior Engineering students. Also
took ‘English Enhancement Classes’ & some parts of ‘Business Ethics paper’ for MBA students.
2010 –
- Took the classes of ‘Communication skills’ (BE-103) & ‘Communicative language’ (BE-206) as visiting
faculty for one session for the students of Engineering in Oriental Institute of Science & Technology,
Indore after leaving C I I T but couldn’t continue in the next session because of fracture in left foot and
injury in back- bone. And then because of 4 months of bed rest & other things there was a gap till I joined
Astral Institute in 2011.
2008 –10
- Took the classes of ‘Communication skills’ (BE-103) & ‘Communicative language’ (BE-206) and GD/PI for the
Engineering students of C I I T, Indore. Here also took some parts of ‘Business Ethics paper’ for ‘MBA
students’.
Being a student of B A & M A and otherwise also I was inclined towards Indian culture, History &
Philosophy that is why I took classes of related subjects as visiting faculty in Prestige Institute also.

- Presented a paper on “Electronic Voting: Issues, Challenges and Strategies’ at the 6th
International
Conference on E-Governance at Department of Management Studies, I I T, Delhi. (author – Mrs.
Sangeeta Jain, my wife)
2007 - 08 was appointed Asst Prof in English Enhancement Cell, an initiative of the then head of management
dept. Prof G P Garg, in Maharaja Ranjeet Singh College of Professional Sciences, Indore. The main task was to
improve the communication Skills of MBA students.

- Continued taking classes of communication skills & GD/PI. Also took the classes General English for
competitions. In fact students are always in search of good guidance in this direction.
2003-05
- Worked as English Faculty in SGM Institute of Spoken English & Personality Development, Indore.
2001-03
- Took English classes for competitive exams like P O, N D A, C D S & classes 11th
, 12th
in Sachdeva new pt
College. (Indore centre) and at Kothari Institute, Indore. Also Wrote notes on General English for
competitions during this period. Took translation classes (from Hindi to English & vice-versa) for M P
Judicial Services at Kothari Institute, Indore.
2000-01
- Took classes of BBA & BCA (‘Ancient History & Culture’) & (‘Cultural Heritage & Business Ethics’) as visiting
faculty in Prestige Institute of Management & Research, Indore.
Since 1997
- Started taking my own classes of Spoken English for all age groups, including students, house-wives,
working men and women at my residence. Also took the classes of 10th
& 12th.
(Of English & Social Studies).
1996-97
- Shifted to Indore and joined Aptech Computers, as Central Placement Executive (Prakash Plaza), Indore.
Here also I tried to improve the level of communication skills of students.
1994-96
- Shifted to Allahabad after closing down the industry & started taking classes of Logic (Philosophy) for Civil
Services competitive Exams. (UPSC, Delhi) at Allahabad.
- Started taking Spoken English classes at Rao IAS (Institute for IAS & PCS).
- Also started a 3-months certificate course of Spoken English in the evening at Allahabad School of
Professional Education (Managed by ‘Agarwal Jatiya Shiksha Parishad’, Allahabad)
Written works –
2003 –
- Wrote notes on General English for competitions while I was taking English classes for competitive exams
like P O, N D A, C D S etc in Sachdeva New PT College. (Indore centre) and at Kothari Institute, Indore.
1996 –
- Wrote notes on reasoning (Logic*) for competitive exams like MBA at Indore. (* refer to ‘Introduction to
Logic by I. M. Copy) ‘Logic was an important part of syllabi of BA & MA and is the base of all reasoning'.
1994 –
- Six articles were published in a Hindi magazine for competitive exams for the preparation of Philosophy for
Civil Services, UPSC at Allahabad.
- Appeared in the Main Examination of Civil Services (UPSC) in 1982, 1984 and 1985 after clearing the
Preliminary level. ( I wrote the articles for the preparation of civil services on this basis )
