As Plant head:
 Managing appropriate delivery of required quantity as per customer schedule by directing all aspects of
manufacturing operations for the plant in order to produce cost-effective, timely and high quality products as per
customer schedules in a safe, secure and hygienic working environment

 Implemented several measures to identify deformities, malfunctions or other abnormalities such as elimination of
Pinhole issue in KTM stator assy. by change in tooling material, Captive M/c synchronisation, etc. This was then
implemented across all similar category stator assys across all customer vendors.
 Shifted performance test of stator assys. from under production to QA Dept. resulting in highly reduced CC & IHR
 Provided design input to customer to increase electrical output in existing part
 Implemented bins of proper design to reduce powder coating chip-of losses
 Planned& implemented change in clamp design in all stator assys. to reduce CC & IHRin parts /components /products
 Escalated Overall Operating Efficiency (OEE) by 10% through measures such asproper planning & scheduling between
Production & Purchase Dept. & conducting Periodic Review Meetings.

As Project Head:
 Led to achievement of Y-O-Y increase in turnover from
INR 30 crores in 2011-12 to INR 38 crores in 2014-15
with a team size of over 100 employees
 Saved procurement cost by at least INR 3 lacs through
rationalisation of vendors & upgrading system at vendors.
 Reduced overhead costs by implementation of SPMs,
consumable costs by 5% by sourcing better life tools &
new vendors 20% cost reduction machine tools / spares
costsby sourcing spares directly from part manufactures
in place of machine manufacturers , Implementation of
process improvements & focussing on scrap/energy reduction programs
 Achieved reduction in In-house & Customer PPM for KTM model from approx. 40% to less than 1% and Customer PPM
from over 10,000 to 300 in 6 months; ensured PPM level adherence since Aug 2014.
 Conceptualised and implemented changes in entire plant layout, design assembly area and oven area to ensure
optimum utilisationofspace and increase efficiency of operators by reducing operating fatigue
 Successfully eliminated dry/improper soldering in JL stator by change in process (Feb’13)
 Facilitated reduction in powder coating chip-off CC by change in material handling bins (Apr’13)
 Completed all ISO plant surveillance & re-certification audits for 4 years as MR (2011 – 2014) with zero NCs (non-
conformities)
 Implemented customer support for AP (Bajaj 3-wheeler) & RE60, R104 (Bajaj 4-wheeler) stator assemblies & REML
stator assembly (Royal Enfield)
 Instrumental in implementing plant TPM Declaration Function in Sept’2012 and implementation of TPM across plant
achieving & sustaining customer rating Level 1 from Level 4 in 6 months with focus on CC, IHR & Warranty
 Helped in achieving 1st shot clearance of Suzuki audit
New Set-Up Projects:
• Completed commissioning of new plant for new customer in 2 months with increase in overall company group income
by an additional INR 3.00 to 3.50 crores annually
As Manager Projects - ( Operations )
 Led a team of 12 members of engineering supervisory / managerial level &approx. 100 workers working across
various process such as powder coating, riveting ,winding, soldering, tinning, potting & curing, varnishing , vacuum
impregnation & stator coil assembly
 Managed complete logistics of shifting plant & people to a new plant location (Chakan in July’2011) , in the given
timeframe & without affecting customer deliverables
