James Moss Jr. is a versatile Hip-Hop artist
from Virginia who utilizes lyricism and
theatrics to captivate his viewers. As a
creator of catchy Hip-Hop tracks featuring
sharp bars and heavy 808’s, James delivers
consistent hits worth a spot on any playlist.
His tracks are filled with punch lines and
accompanied by visuals that draw fans
inside of his world, like the visual for his
track “Back Then,” that gave viewers a
taste of his passion for golf. When James
began his music career, he utilized the
moniker AB and after the passing of his
grandfather, decided to carry on his legacy
by adopting his grandfather’s name as his
new moniker. With the new moniker came
seemingly heavier bars and the ability to
create versatile tracks that would appeal to
a wide range of Hip-Hop consumers. His
discography covers a range of emotions
and life events painted musically within
each of his tracks. James is inspired by
artists such as Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and
Lil’ Wayne; however, his versatility is
explained by his childhood that was filled
listening to the likes of Aaliyah, Lauryn Hill,
and Elton John. As an artist, James desires
to solidify and maintain his longevity in the
industry by making every move
strategically and creating tracks for his
