SPRINT SIMULATION OF CHEAPERNET (1993)

The main features of the new general-purpose circuit simulator based on Digital Wave algorithms are presented. The core algorithms including a wave calculation ordering processor were developed by Piero Belforte and Giancarlo Guaschino,, HDT founders, while Riccardo Sisto implemented Software modules regarding specific primitives of the simulator and the fast convolution calculator. The specific application to logic-timing-electrical simulation of high-speed boards were developed by Piero Belforte. After some slow years, in 2023 there has been renewed activity on the project, with a roadmap now focused on improving the engine’s CSS 2 conformance, exploring Android support, and making Servo a practical embeddable rendering engine.
