teaching and learning
This is a project given to learners in grade 7 to research about the history of
teaching and learning from the 60’s to date
To use various ways of telling the story
Animated animals
Researched information from their parents , websites and own thoughts
Pictorial story
Their recommendations about teaching and learning
Presentation in class

Writing on the
ground using my
fingers

Writing on the ground was
not good because within a
shot time the writing fade
away. You cannot take it
home to mother. So sad!

Slates were introduce
using a pen

Slates were also not good
becaiuse I could not show my
mother, I cannot keep it
forever. It faded away! So sad!

We used books with a pen or
a pencil and ink.
I was able to carry my work
home to show mother, but
after a while the book got
torn and my good work faded
away
8. Grand pa remarks
The books were better than on the
ground and slates but I could not
keep them for long. If they get wet,
my work will fade away. I I lost it ,
my work is lost. It its burnt my work
is burnt. Which is the better way to
keep my work stay for ever ? Help me
my niece!
9. Technology apps and resources
Grandpa, did you hear about Microsoft
technology resources and apps? We can use
technology to drive teaching and learning
in class? Ask me HOW?
10. Technology? What is it? You young
generation like to play with
education. You cannot use
technology resources to learn,
they are for playing. You cannot
play and learn. How is it going to
store the work? How to access
the work? Is it permanently
stored?
