PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
CRYOGENIC VESSEL ALTERNATIVES…(INOXCVA) ..EHS Manager…Nov 2012 to Jan 15
2016.
SUMMARY OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Within two weeks of my return to CVA, management gave me the official letter and NOV’s from TCEQ that took
place several months prior to my return to this company and it's new location.
I worked with the two investigators for TCEQ and developed all waste stream analysis/ classifications for our new
location. I brought new ideas to the operation for closed loop systems and recycling changes to processes. I took
many soil and water samples and closed all alleged violations (NOV’s) without penalties or fines. This work was a
very large project. We received notification from TCEQ that all NOV’s were satisfied through my work and no
further action would be necessary.
PACIFIC STEVEDORING LLC, “(Dutch Harbor, Alaska)” 2011 to 2012…. Safety Manager.
Managed the safety efforts for over 150 Stevedores working on several docks and ships at
Dutch Harbor, Alaska located in the Bering Sea. Extreme weather conditions with winds
reaching 80 mph while working in freezing rain and snow. Developed the Safety Management
Team Model. Developed a complete new safety system including written programs.
SUMMARY OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Played the major roll in an evacuation of a 24hr emergency due to a large ammonia leak from
a vessel that was off loading at a major dock. Assisted the Harbor Master, Police Department
and other local authorities with the evacuation efforts. No injuries to Pac Steve employee’s.
Met with OSHA investigators which included the area Director on a surprise visit to the Island.
After proactive preparations in our new Power Industrial Truck program and Fall RESTRAINT
efforts/implementation, this company reached a historic level of compliance. Results; first time
that Pac Steve did not receive citations. I received a bonus.
CRYOGENIC VESSEL ALTERNATIVES…..(Safety, Security, and Environmental
Professional) November 2007 to 2011.
SUMMARY OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Developed/ revised site specific safety programs including Safety
Responsibility/Accountability Program, formed safety management team. Reduced incidents by 65% in first six
months. Managed in house security personnel, completed a SWPPP Plan and NOI Storm Water registration, led
the company through an OSHA audit that lasted approximately 3 months and settled one violation for five hundred
dollars.
MATRIX METALS LLC….(Safety Manager) (Steel Foundry) Sept. 25th 06 to Nov. 2007
SUMMARY OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Decreased the number of lost time cases and lowered the workers Comp.
cost from 1.5 million to less than 300 thousand in first year. Audit was conducted just before my hire date from
NRC and The Texas Department of Health regarding Homeland Security/radiation source. Developed program
and represented company at a hearing. From the program development and implementation efforts the fine was
reduced from 18,000 dollars to 400.dollars.

SUMMARY OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Developed format and led the organization’s Machine Specific Lockout
program. Was sent to other locations to successfully jump start the initiative.

Safety Manager. Managed the safety efforts for over 150 Stevedores working on several docks and ships at Dutch Harbor, Alaska located in the Bering Sea. Reduced incidents by 65% in first six months.
