Oversee day-to-day telecommunication / WAN operations of Montefiore’s Campus activities,
which include; processes of voice engineering and implementation of Cisco VoIP Phones, as well
as support of Legacy Nortel PBX systems.
Responsibilities include the following areas, quality assurance, financial management,
communications, resource management, and service delivery and vendor management.
Successful procurement of all Montefiore’s WAN high speed data circuits, budgeting to over 80
remote campuses, 15 main campuses, and Montefiores’ three main data centers.
Lead a collaborative effort to design and implement new Cisco Video phones DX650 & 9971 to
the executive management team and their administrators for 3 Odell Plaza Headquarters. This
replaced an outdated problematic Nortel Option 81 system, reduced system wide outages and
minimized future financial impacts to the organization.
Knowledge of Optical transports, DWDM, dark fiber and Metro Ethernet.
Knowledge to support intelligent transport and managed service solutions for E-line, V-Line, E-
LAN, VoIP, VPN, Internet access, and IVB bundled services.

Regional Telecommunications Manager
Managed staff of 8 Voice Analyst, and Telecom vendors responsible for the installation and
ongoing support of the telephony systems at 100+ sites. Responsibilities included system
administration, troubleshooting network and system issues, incident management, change
management and vendor management.
After 9/11/2001 implemented a state of the art emergency paging systems for 3 major sites in the
Tri-State area, that enabled senior management to communicate or evacuate all BNYMellon
employees in case of any and all types emergencies.
Lead a collaborative effort to design and implement a Siemens Hi-Com 300E PBX that supported
1500 users for BNY Mellon 200 Park Avenue office. This replaced an outdated problematic
system, reduced system wide outages and minimized future financial impacts to the organization.
Managed the team that designed and installed a 50 seat IPC Alliance turret trading system at the
Corporate Headquarters. This replaced a heritage V band trading equipment with a new robust
state of the art trading system environment enabling traders to have higher productivity in equity
and bond market trading positions.
Coordinated the decommissioning of all legacy voice systems and participated in the deployment
of Cisco IPT to BNY Mellon domestic US sites. This eliminated multiple standalone PBX’s,
multiple vendor maintenance contracts into a single vendor of choice contract saving thousands
of dollars annually.
Lead project team responsible for the installation of a Cisco Call Manager system at BNY
Mellon’s Jersey City office and migrated 1200 staff on to the new system. This resulted in
increased stability, productivity and reduced system outages by 75%.
Coordinated all vendor selection, interface and activities annually which saved the company
money.
Reviewed PBX trunk usage working with TRAC vendor, assessed current system circuit
utilization, which save the Co over $1M last year.
