Offers Component is mainly creating offers and making available them
to customers for subscription.
View component is for creating account for customers and to manage
the bills like payments, usage history and invoice for payments.
Care component is for providing support for the customers to raise
request and to track the requests.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Test Lead I have the following responsibilities:

Role Tester
Description Ericsson is a world leading supplier in telecommunications field with
its wide range of products and services. Ericsson develops a wide
variety of Network Elements. All these NEs have corresponding
Element Management and Network Management Systems. For this,
Ericsson has SO-EM as EMS and IPTNMS as NMS solution. Various
plug-ins (adapters) are developed to support the wide range of
Network Elements.
MSP and MET plug-ins handle Minilink SPx10,
MinilinkPT2020/6020/3060families of Ericsson Microwave Transport
nodes.
Extra Smart Adapter is a plug-in which provides support to any
Generic SNMP based Network. XSA (Extra Smart Adapter) plug-in is
the adaptation solution for managing any SNMP based network
element through Ericsson Service On EM system. The entire plug-in
is developed in house by the team. The plug-in uses CORBA for Inter
Process Communication. This also produces a tool XSA
Configuration Tool developed using Java Swings, which would enable
modeling of any SNMP based NE. The modeled data is stored in
XML files and is stored to the SO-EM system and XSA plug-in. These
XMLs are parsed and used by the plug-in to work with the
corresponding NE.
The work carried over by the team is developing new features like
MEF, MPLS, OAM etc, improvements for the plug-ins, supporting new
Network Elements, providing new adaptations to support new network
elements. I have worked as a developer as well as a tester in this
project which follows Agile methodology.

1. Developed automated testing suites using Selenium which
reduces manual testing effort for repeated tasks.
2. And also written shell scripts for downloading patches from FTP
server and to share the same in the local PC's.
