1. Octopus - The Installed Conferencing Solution
The Octopus is a versatile Audio Conferencing Beamforming Mixer with a powerful DSP. It's unique
technology delivers crystal clear audio by automatically monitoring and mixing a room's acoustics, making
it easy to setup and use. Each Octopus has four microphone inputs which can also be designated as auxiliary
or sound reinforcement channels. The Octopus allows you the freedom to mount speakers and microphones
anywhere in the room. In addition, the Octopus provides unlimited daisy chain capability
(if more than four inputs are needed) and allows for multiple connectivity options.
The Octopus comes standard with USB and RCA connectors for VoIP and Video Codec connectivity, with the
option of adding a PSTN (analog telephone) interface or a DTI (digital telephone) interface. The Octopus can
also be configured with an optional built-in 40 watt, 4-output amplifier for powering speakers.

Phoenix Audio- Free Utilities
The Recording Utility incorporates Phoenix Audio's
acclaimed adaptive noise reduction algorithm, and
unique automatic balancing algorithms which adjust the
audio levels of both sides of the conference to provide
excellent recording clarity of each participant on the call.
The Octopus Setup Utility is used to set your input
(microphone, sound reinforcement, and auxiliary),
speaker, and outgoing audio levels. The Setup Utility is
where you determine the configuration of each unit as
Stand Alone, Master, or Slave.
The Phoenix Audio Dialing software allows you to
control a PSTN line (analog telephone line), including
taking a call, hanging up, dialing, redialing and flash. It
eliminates the need to use a units keypad or to have a
telephone connected to the unit by allowing the dialing
operation to be done remotely via your computer.
