Steps to embed zoom meetings
1. Create a Wordpress Website
2. Download & Install Zoom Meetings for Wordpress Plugin
3. Create a Zoom Marketplace App (Get API Key)
4. Add API Credentials into Wordpress Plugin
5. Use Shortcode on Wordpress page or post
6. Publish page/post and view your Zoom Meeting on Your Website

Create a Wordpress Page

2. Install Zoom Meetings for
Wordpress Plugin

3. Download Plugin File

Install the Plugin
1. Click the plugins area of
Wordpress
2. Click Add New Plugin and
Select Upload.
3. Upload and Activate Your
Plugin

Create a Zoom Marketplace App (Get API Key)
1. Visit the Zoom Marketplace at
marketplace.zoom.us
2. Sign in and click Develop
3. Choose the JWT option

Find your Zoom App Credentials
1. Once you app has been
created click “App Credentials”
2. Copy this information and
paste it into the settings area of
your Wordpress plugin

Copy Zoom API Credentials into Wordpress
1. Copy and paste your API
Key and API Secret Key
2. Select from a few
customization options and
press save.

Copy Zoom API Credentials into Wordpress
1. Find the Plugin Shortcode
2. Paste Plugin with the
Zoom Meeting ID that you
wish to embed.

Publish your page
1. Paste shortcode in
2. Update or Publish Page

Known Limitations
1. Joining the meeting directly from the WordPress page
may not work for IOS devices because Apple doesn’t
allow loading of an external iframe, therefore, the plugin
provides a Zoom app link on the page for users to join
meeting via Zoom App incase it doesn’t work on their
specific device.
2. The Zoom webinar module is not supported in this
plugin.
3. This addon only supports the features that are
supported in the web version of Zoom. The features that
are specific to the Zoom App like recording the video
conferencing session are not supported via this plugin
as they are available only in the Zoom App.
4. Users cannot join Breakout Sessions via the HTML web
app.
