1. Richmond Junior Chess Club
opens most Saturday afternoons, for budding masters from 5—18 years of age.
All standards welcome, but space is limited.

Club Highlights:
Experienced coaches, with many years of playing and coaching, all DBS cleared
Time for structured learning about the game and for competitive play
Beginners classes, of 1 hour in length, for those learning the moves for the first time
Novices classes, of 1 hour in length, for younger and less experienced players
Classes of 3 hours in length for experienced students to prepare them for playing in formal competition, up to county
standard, British championship standard and ultimately to the standard needed for national selection
Girls classes, to specially encourage our young ladies, with International Master Susan Lalic
Parents classes, for mums and dads keen to learn for themselves, and to help their children
Fees
£200 per term for main classes
£100 per term for novices classes
£70 for 4 girls classes
Reduced to £140 per term for further siblings (£70 beginners)
£140 per term for parents classes
One trial session at £20 for newcomers (£10 novices)
Discreet consideration given to genuine difficulties with the fees
External tournament fees not included
