In pursuitof hisdream,Paul struck outon hisownfor an opportunityinWinnipeg with Rorer Pharma. His territory was
vast,reachingeastto ThunderBay and beyondtoMarathon. Hisresponsibilitieswere similarly wide-ranging, servicing
bothGPs and specialistsin Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Dermatology and Endocrinology. Additionally, Paul handled
OTC businessatbothRetail andWholesale KeyAccounts. Withdriveanddetermination,he wonhisfirstof many‘Rep of
the Year’ Awards here.
Followingfive challengingandrewardingyearsoutWest, now-married Paul and wife took the opportunity to backpack
Europe for six monthsbefore settlinginhometownDundas andresumingwork. Rorer had become RPR, which became
Aventisand thenSanofi.Through these mergers, Paul used his ever-expanding expertise and flexibility to advantage,
earningfive more ‘Repof the Year’Awardswithdifferentmanagers,geographiesandproducts.After24+ yearswith this
same evolvingcompany,alarge-scalerestructuringendedhisstellarterm. Paul was quickly able to gain a position with
Novartis Primary Care until a similar downsizing and a strong internal endorsement afforded him his current position
with Novartis Vaccines commencing June 2012.
Paul has displayed characteristicresilience anddeterminationinembracingthe vastlydifferentandchallenging world of
