2. Sportsmanship Definition
Sportsmanship I feel has so many meaning it could be as simple as shaking the
other teams hand after the game. Sportsmanship could go above and beyond like
helping the other team if they have a hurt player. Everyone is required to show it
and you look really bad if you don’t show it. That's my definition of sportsmanship.
3. Owners in sports
Owners in sports I feel at this point in time act like they don't care about the team.
There are many teams around the world which aren't getting the necessary
amount of attention from the owner to be successful. Owners should be there to
say yes no to decisions. They should dump money into the team when needed.
4. Coaches in sports
Coaches play a bigger part in sports then people think. Coaches are supposed to
be like teachers. The kids should want to go to practice. Coaches need to teach a
lot of lessons that kids need to have to be a good person.
5. Health and safety
In this day and age this can be a controversial topic because how many head
injuries that happen every day. I'm really happy that the advancements that have
been made to make sure kids have a bright on and off the field. On the safety
points, every sport I feel have made improvements to make sure kids are the
safest that they can be.
6. Athletes
I'm in the same spot with players and coaches. They need to have the same roles
that are greater than just playing the sport. Athletes need to be role models in the
world and some of them just don't. I like how players like Russell Wilson set
examples and hope others will catch on.
7. Communities
Athletes and organizations can play a bigger part in their communities then they
think. This gets on my nerves that the leagues have to step in to make sure they
are doing things. If teams opened up their eyes and started to put their fans first
then so many more people would buy more products from them.
8. Good Fan Behavior
Fans are usually really good for the teams in this slide im going talk about good
fan behavior. Most fans are really good and one thing on my bucket list is going to
a soccer game is europe. All of the atmosphere is because they care about the
teams.
9. Bad Fan Behavior
Last topic im going to go over is bad fan behavior and I don't want to insult
american fans directly. If they weren't tailgating before every game maybe they
would be able to get off a half decent chant the whole sports culture would change
change in the states.
10. My opinion on sports
The whole sports world could change if they took most of the things in
consideration that I said. Sports in the states need to change for the better and not
having athletes going out and getting arrested. These players need to start
knowing there nothing without their organizations and they need to represent them
well.
