What we are Doing?
Our work is do find accident prone areas on NH21-A
Baddi to Nalagarh a span of 17 kilometer. The reason
of it being an accident prone area may be technical
or some other reason. Our work is to prepare a
report of accident prone areas and forward it to
NHAI for further correction in these points when
four laning of this work will be done. Along with it
we will also find reduced level of various points by
rise and fall method.
Findings
 Accident Prone Area at RD 19/310m
 Baddi Bye Pass
Reasons for Accident
 No Junction is Provided
 No Traffic Signal is Provided
 Vehicles come from three sides at same side which
leads to traffic congestion and accidents.
Preventive Measures
 Create a circular junction at the by-pass allowing
vehicles to proceed in a proper way.
 Light Signal can not be installed here because it will
reduce accidents but may cause congestion.
