• MRA Medicare Risk Adjustment/CRA Commercial Risk Adjustment code and audit patient
charts to the highest specificity utilizing audit spreadsheets for corrections/submissions,
according to CPT, ICD-9 and HCPCS guidelines in physician setting
• Train employees, students, front office staff, physicians regarding
documentation/coding/billing accuracy
• Physician coding for MRA/CRA HCC Risk Adjustment, hospital abstract coding, fee-for-
service; assign principal diagnosis, secondary diagnosis and CPT methodology, HCPCS
• Ability to work with multiple and diverse clients and projects
• Compliance for participation/Third Party Providers
• Proficient with multiple Electronic Health Record Systems/software programs
• Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Medisoft and Greenway
Cash Control Analyst Skills
• Balance/reconcile weekly HAP and United Healthcare vouchers with condition reports,
remittance advice, TCE/OPT reports, invalid reports
• Third party billing, cash posting, contractual adjustments, co-pay/deductibles
• Balance bank lockboxes, identify patient accounts discrepancies
• Process VISA charges, message accounts, prepare transactions for posting wrap-up
• Utilize and proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, Invision, Bundle, Medseries
Problem Solving/Analytical Skills
• Resolve customer/insurance inquiries and handled complaints promptly
• Work with Team Leader and Team to provide resolution to patient accounts/bank
deposit/voucher issues
• Interact with AR/AP departments to resolve financial discrepancies
• Implement excel worksheets for balancing resolution
• Attend team meetings to address and provide reactive/proactive solutions to existing and
potential issues
