Re: Paige L. Howard
My name is Kevin White and I currently work for Rice-McVaney Communications. I
am a regional manager for the Microsoft Windows UCrew program and Paige
Howard is one of the representatives at Middle Tennessee State University.
I became the regional manager for Paige’s region in September of 2011, and from
my beginning Paige was one of my best and most consistent reps.
Each rep is required to get forty surveys, or trials, per week. Obtaining these
consists of setting up table displays around their respective campuses and speaking
with the students, and demonstrating all of the features of Windows7. After showing
them, the students are asked to try out the new features they just learned. The
students conclude the session by filling out a short survey that gives their opinion
on the demonstration and their views on the software.
To say the least, it takes a confident and outgoing individual to complete the work
we require in being a student rep for the UCrew program. It is not an easy
internship but it is one that students learn the values of time management,
communication excellence, and self discipline to get their required work done.
Paige has been in the top three out of my 28 reps all year long and has been an
integral part in my region’s success. She was prompt all year when asked for
information about her duties. She even won a few incentive-based contests for her
superb work in going above and beyond the required.
Paige is an excellent employee that will deliver superb work when asked, and will
continue to provide a great work ethic to succeed in any job she takes on.
