1. Control on common spares inventory by planning Similar ranges , model , make and shuffling
of spares in SID , SMS , CPP , PELLET and 110 / 33 KV MRSS.
2. Control on Man powerrecruitment and right utilization by inter office transfers based onthe
performance , work load and requirement.
3. Utilization of non- movable items like cables , motors , contactors , common spares and
consumables.
4. Implementation of SMS messaging and Web link at AFBC and PELLET, by this break down
and Plant operation information to right persons without any human or operatorinteractions.
5. Implementation of analytical way log books and e-log books for analyzing and reducing the
regular break downs & investments.
6. 5-why why analysis foreach breakdowns, to increase the equipment availability by proper
analysing , training or permanent modifications.
7. The great achievement is involving in Pellet plant project from know how to commissioning
and entire project co-ordination with various suppliers and consultants' of Process , Mechanical ,
Electrical and Automation section.
8. Implementation in high end automation like IMCC's , 690V & 415V drives in AFBC and
PELLET plant to reduce the investment on cables and gives more information on equipments in
online .
9. Travelled for study , understand the technology , techno-commercial discussions and
Inspections before dispatches in various cities in India , China and Russia.
10. Installations of Air Handling Units instead of Air conditioners in ECR first and second floor
forcooling electrical drives and DCS by this we can reduce operating cost as wellas huge
investment in project.
11. HT Capacitorinstallations in MRSS to maintain Plant Powerfactorto frequent penalties.
12. Implemented stand by UPS connections to captive powerplant DCS from AFBC - DCS control
room by this we avoided investment and maximum utilization of asset.
13. Installation of stand by UPS in sponge iron division PLC's , by this we avoided frequent PLC
processorlogic failures and licensed systems.
14. Mastercomputerinstallation at sponge iron division to avoid kiln shut downwhile
independent systemfailures.
15. Establishment of Data and Control communication betweenCPP , AFBC and SID on common
network plat form forCritical parameters monitoring , Safety interlocks betweenboth the units
and plan of daily Auto report generation at one point.
16.Regulaortime based CBT maintenance implementation at 33KV Substation equipments and
OLTC oil filtration.
