1. Leasing & Renting of local Restaurants for Palm Hut Food Chain, PHFC,NP EXIM.
Palm Hut Food chain, PHFC is a retail food outlet chain of NP EXIM, Import/Export Company for the
purpose to upgrade the local restaurants in serving export quality ready to eat foods which include
fruits, dairy products for the domestic customers of category consist low income group, middle class and
high income group. In future PHFC will open branches all over the world.
Leasing & Renting Local Restaurants:
PHFC will take over local restaurants which are running loss and make profitable with its innovations
suitable for domestic customers.
Trial Period:
The trial period will be not more than 90 days to make the restaurants into profitable one.
Non Disclosure Agreement for the copy & patent right innovations:
The aspiring restaurants should enter a non disclosure agreement for the copy & patent right
innovations of Food products menu & preparation processes.

Minimum Sales Price: Rs. 180 – Rs.250
Sales Target:
Minimum 100 nos @ Rs.250 = Rs.50000. Maximum 1000 nos.@ Rs.250 = Rs.250000 per day.

and the restaurants which are unable to compete with them only have opened branches at Chennai. But

Investment from PHFC, NP EXIM:
PHFC, NP EXIM will not invest any fund at the initial stage until the restaurants recover from the loss.
PHFC will apply its innovative business strategies in food process, menu, training the chefs,
infrastructure, marketing and maintaining international quality standards besides dissemination to the
public to create awareness based customer building.
Venture Capital Funding:
The successful revamping of loss making restaurants would enhance NP EXIM’s venture capital fund
sourcing for its PHFC wing and the revamped loss making restaurants affiliation would be also
considered as indirect venture capital investments.
Business Plan for Revamping Loss Making Restaurants:
 Biriyani Production will be done at common point in such a manner that 1 in 10 restaurants will
be a production center and others will be retail outlet.
 Chefs will be trained at the production center to produce the most favorite recipes.

3.  More than 1700 restaurants are facing closure at Chennai in which 100 to 150 restaurants will
be selected for the food production center.
 Restaurants selected for Food Production Center should undergo trail production with the
innovative guidance of PN Consultants. The sample production will be started within 7 days and
retail selling will be resumed within 10 days.
 PN Consultants will issue advertisement in local newspapers for the food items.
 The common center production is designed for the initial stage of revamping loss making
restaurants and later it will be done at all the franchise restaurants.
 The intellectual properties of food recipes will be jointly owned in case of Food Production
Restaurants contribute its innovations.
 Food Production Center Restaurant should spend its own fund for the trail production and PN
Consultants would evaluate the products then release the order for full scale operation.
 Food Production Center Restaurants should enter non-disclosure agreement for the intellectual
business strategies and food recipes.
 Bank guarantee of Rs.500000 should be submitted in order to disclose the business strategies.
The legal terms will be done as per the existing judicial procedures.
 The legal fees for the documents should be paid by the restaurants. There are no other fees.

There is no state of art business strategies available for revamping the loss making restaurants. PN
Consultants will continuously work along with the Restaurants, research the failure causes, innovate
