 It is not just a simple comparison and
contrast, but is weaving or integrating
past information that you have learned
and applying it to good use to gain
access o more information.

Example :
Juan has never baked a cake before. He has, however,
baked cookies before. Juan knows that when he is baking
cookies, he has to measure each ingredient very carefully.
He also knows that he has to keep an eye on the oven

knowledge of measuring carefully and monitoring the oven
when he bakes his first cake.
