9. MAXAM Defence is the leading private Spanish
company in this sector offering a wide range of
highly advanced products for defence purposes.
MAXAM Defence also offers other military services
such as the destruction, recovery and recycling of all
types of munitions and explosives, decontamination
and cleaning of land used by the military or in areas of
conflict, as well as maintenance of vehicles and aircraft

in diverse projects undertaken with the objective of
utilising and optimising our own technological
developments in the areas of safety and the
environment.
MAXAM Energy provides advice on the handling,
storage and transport of hazardous goods with the
object of always working in conditions of maximum
security.
Our respect for the environment has given rise to
initiatives such as the project to regenerate impoverished
land for forestry or agricultural use, putting to good use
land owned by MAXAM in Páramo de Masa, Burgos,
Spain.
