Style Of Architecture
The whole structure of building in RCC framework.
The form of structure is triangular and sloping like
chease piece.
The design is focused on establishing an entity for
students, where the built space and environment
together becomes a successful tool for learning.
Special Feature :
School has the two courtyards for the reduces the
heat gain and maximum ventilation and allows
more light.
Windows is like number of puncture in walls.

• Site is located in dense urban
in city in residential
neighbourhood.
• Site is perfect ractangular and
has 3 road on 3 side.
• Entry in Site from main road
at south-east corner.
• Orientation : East face
building.
Site Plan Analysis
11
Construction Technology
Windows
The external surface of the
building has multiple
punctures. The exterior
facade has many tiny window
panels to maintain visual
connectivity with nature and
the surroundings. The
students get a view of the
outside while sitting at their
desks.
12
Sloping Form
The slopes gave rise to
double height volumes,
which gave rise to
mezzanines inside the
classrooms. These
additional spaces provide
room for multipurpose
activities. All the activities
which cannot be done
indoors have found space
either in the margin or on
the rooftop.”
Environment &
Micro Climate
13
• Project is in Rajasthan.
• It is the home of extremely harsh
climatic conditions with very little
vegetation or water and the
climate is hot and dry.
• So its needs to building should be
cool.
• For cooling long facing façade at
wind direction.
• For Ventillation it has two
courtyard between the building.
• East side has less windows and
sloping part of building.
Requirements
of user
behaviour.
14
• Uses of more colors and
shape in furniture.
• Using railing and planters
all around peripheri for
children safety.
• Puncture holes windows
for exterior view for
childrens.
• Repurpose roof as playing
area.
• Upper classroom for senior
students
15
Form and Function
• The architectural entity was inspired
by that enduring image of cheese
with tiny holes on its sides thus, a
built envelope with tiny puncture-like
windows that help maintain visual
connectivity with nature and the
surroundings.
• The staggering and twisting of
storeys generates small planters and
an organic form. The shape and
volume of the classrooms are
organic, unlike the usual rectangular
classrooms. And the main thing that
the small windows are special made
for small childrens .
Structure
16
• The entire structure is
supported by the columns
and flat slabs .Because
beams create problems in
water flowing on the roof.
• A column in architecture is
a structural element that
transmits , through
compression, the weight of
the structure above to other
structural elements below.
In other words , a column is
a compression member.
Pro’s and Con’s
• Architect create a school like
environment space.
• Number of puncture holes
windows helps to small
children for outer view.
• Repurposed entire roof as
playing area.
• Courtyard is like breathing
centre of building.
• Using various colors which
children likes.
17
• The building has lot of
vegetation i.e. hard to
maintain in area like a
Rajasthan.
• Middle space like meeting
room of building need
Artificial ventilation and lights.
• Amphitheater may not be
used in hot summer days.
• Large number of windos may
be faced sunglare problem.

Objective Of Project
20
In olden times, students were taught in open
environments under the trees. Architect
have been inspired by this concept as it
helps children connect with nature. It is a
wonderful way to learn various life skills, and
presents an opportunity for kids to run,
jump, slide, make a mess and explore
themselves in an informal way.
The idea was to create a space such that the
thought of going to school would bring a
smile on their faces!
Thank You !
