POEM - “Plaza Francia”
The famous Plaza Francia,
beautiful and very populated,
no more than a huge open park
with the smell of existence;
The smell of the bright sun peeking,
the gentle wind that causes the wobbling of the trees,
Cotton clouds that slowly start hiding in the sun.
There people go to enjoy the incredible day,
laughing and wandering with friends or family.
Walking on the cement roads
that lead you to several places you can not miss,
The cemetery, that terrifies at night
the Basilica of Our Lady of Pilar, beautiful and colorful,
and the National Museum of Beautiful Arts, that carries in it a great history.
At the weekend, the park gives a space to the extraordinary craft fair
little children laugh at the merry clown
while mom and dad get a present for grandma
who next month will be in town.
They have got plenty of clothes to choose
while they taste a delicious fair juice.
Music is in the air when you walk through the fair
Jugglers will make you scrub your eyes
while aged women stretch their legs,
and carefree dogs sniff their tails.
You can not miss that fun in Plaza Francia
if you are into all kind of stravaganza.
