Position: Area Sales Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for Field Sales Planning and Management.
1. Sets realistic sales target for the sales reps at the beginning of every month.
2. Daily, weekly and monthly reviews of sales reps, sales performance to enable planning takes
place.
3. Advice the office on sales opportunities and at the same time monitors competition activities
while visiting the market.
4. Visit key customers to build customer relation for the company.
5. Provide regular feedback to the office about the performance of the sales team.
6. Plans the routes for the reps and review these routes regularly through the process of routes
realignment and adjustment.
7. Responsible for retail audit and update it regularly based on the information received from the
sales team.
8. Monitors the stocks ordering and the stocks loading processes of each rep to ensure conformity
with company’s policy.
9. Ensures that documentation of sales is properly and accurately done on the spot at the point of
sales.
10. Ensures that the reconciliation of stocks and cash are done according to company’s laid down
