2. How it all started… Communities are important. That’s what we’ve been studying here in Room 301. We were brainstorming different ways we could help our community. So, we took a trip across the street to Clark Park.
3. At the Park This is us at Clark Park. We are observing the wading pool. This was the first thing we saw when we arrived.
4. What’s this? Oh, it’s a woman’s bathroom. It’s locked though. We don’t know who can use this. We noticed that there was also yellow spray paint on the walls. It’s called graffiti.
5. This is the playground at Clark Park. We were tempted to abandon our tour and play on it.
6. We tried to guess what this building was, but we couldn’t figure it out. It also had graffiti.
7. A Tour While we were walking, we noticed that there were some cords sticking out of the ground. Someone should pick up these electric wires. Oh yeah, and the leaves too.
8. We are wondering what this building is used for? It had a beautiful mural painted on the outside.
9. This was another really cool mural. It’s made out of small pieces of glass tile. This made the park look really nice.
10. We were very surprised to find that these were designed by kids. They were way cool!
11. What we did… After seeing the different parts of Clark Park, we decided to do something to help improve it.
12. Survey We created a survey on survey monkey to find out what the community thought about Clark Park. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/KDPBD3S

29. Voting They vote for the project on Facebook, text, and email. The community would be able to win this grant if everyone pitched in their support.
30. Well, that’s our presentation from Room 301. We are a gifted and talented class with many ideas to make our community a better place.
31. We hope you will support us as we attempt to turn Clark Park into a beacon of our community.
