Structure and Operation • KRIVET, Republic of Korea, has operated a secretariat since 2012. • TVET Cooperation Conference (since 2013), Outreach program(Customized policy consulting since 2013), development and dissemination of ASEAN vocational education models(1:1 matching and exchange cooperation between domestic and local ASEAN local schools with expert consulting since 2016) • MoU among the Ministry of Education of each country in TVET cooperation. Reported on progress and outcome at ASEAN EMM and SOM

Mechanism • Vocational education schools in Korea have all the experience and information along with the last 50 years of vocational education history like the Vocational Education Museum. • Various stimulating effects igniting Peer-Learning occur through the interaction among teachers, students, and management, and administration • Invisible, non-technical, attitude, motivation transmitted naturally
  4. 4. • Customized TVET Policy Consulting: Establishing a platform to strengthen vocational education cooperation among member countries and strengthening regional cooperation in vocational education through sharing knowledge and experiences of excellent cases and experts. • Strengthen regional economic cooperation by Sharing Korean vocational education development policy and TVET school model suitable for ASEAN countries that benchmark Korean development model. Spreading ASEAN +6 TVET Models: 2013(1 country)->2016 (3 countries)->2019 (5 countries)->2021 (7 countries)->2022 (8 countries), Outreach(Customized consulting): 2016-2022 16 times, Exchange schools: 2016 (6 schools), 2022 (22 schools), Expert consulting: 56 times (20 hours per one consulting on average) Thailand: Reorganized technical college curriculum(Lampang(2019): Department of Machinery, Electrical Engineering -> Department of Drone, Smart Manufacturing(Winning the King of Excellence Award for Curriculum Innovation); Minburi(2020): Repairing electricity and electronics->SW Development, Web- based business development; Songkla(2017): Department of Beauty newly set up.)
