CAREERS IN NUTRITION
Attend dynamic sessions to hear about the personal career journeys
of high profile nutritionists and find out about registering as a
nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition
WORKSHOP SESSION
Participate in a training workshop on
communication, negotiation and reaching
consensus in public health nutrition
Understand the impact of politics and vested
interests in shaping the translation of
nutritional science into public health priorities
Learn how to communicate your message
and influence a range of stakeholder groups
(e.g. healthcare professionals, retailers,
food manufacturers)
Master the art of negotiation through role play
Recognise the complexity of issues in the wider
nutrition arena
Discuss how to apply the skills learned to other
areas of work

Postgraduate Conference in Great Britain. The conference is designed
to provide postgraduate students at all stages of their research with the
opportunity to present work, attend career sessions and network with peers.
