Academic formation in British/ American literature; licensed translator; translated some major American authors (Henry Miller, Peter Beagle, Jack Kerouac) for important Romanian Publishing Houses such as Humanitas, Polirom, etc. My Ph.D.in American literature of the 1950s (Beat Generation, 2006) completed this line of activity and opened new paths for research.
Authorised translator (Romanian Ministry of Justice) with expertise in specialist text translation (social sciences, valuation reports, some "legalese") where I work as a freelancer.
