Developed in 2007, the MUZL600/1200 Pellet mill nowadays has won Muyang a lot of reputations in feed industry due to its proven high-efficiency and stable performance.
1. Compared to that produced by single roller pellet mill, Pellet product pressed by triple roller is of better durability and appearance, because of the longer retention time in the die hole.
2. Retention time: triple rollers ≥1.5 double rollers
Transmission efficiency of the two-motor timing-belt stepping drive could be up to 98-99.5%.
In addition, the V-belt will skid automatically if overload, making the running more safe.
Too fast a velocity will resulting in discontinuous production and generating more fines;
Too slow a velocity will decrease the capacity;
The pellet length is also controlled by the linear velocity of ring die.
From top-down, the pelleting system is composed of a feeder, a conditioner, a principal machine and a steam application system for conditioner.
The pelleting process:
The mash enters the feeder from the pelletizing bin, and then enters the conditioner at a proper rate. The material will be sufficiently mixed with steam in the conditioner by stirring paddles of the conditioner, and finally enters the pelletizing chamber and is pressed into pellets by the press rollers and the ring die. The length of the pellets is control by adjusting the clearance between the cutting knives and the ring die.
② After that the hot pellets enter the cooler for cooling till the temperature and moisture content satisfy the requirement
