WORK EXPERIENCE
January, 2012 – May, 2015 member and later co captain of a FRC team/ TSA chapter
During my time in FRC I went from being a total introvert to being a leader and a social butterfly.
Not only did I become the lead machinist on our team and develop the ability to proficiently use
manual and CNC machining tools I also learned how to handle stressful and emotionally trying
experiences and balance such things whole still being effective and efficient at work. My people
skills greatly improved and I have become a natural leader.
January,2016 – May, 2016 unpaid intern at IC Racing
During my time at IC I performed the tasks of a shop hand, meaning I cleaned and maintained
the shop as well as carpentry work and automotive repair. Given that IC racing is a classic car
custom shop I have learned welding among a laundry list of other skills but the biggest take
away is an improvement of problem solving skills.
