Joint Water Commission - Hillsboro - Pump Station # 1
Pump Replacement Project
This project will replace 400 Hp finished water pump and motor, add variable speed drive, and
replace a 700 hp motor on finished water Pump #5. Nesh Mucibabic PE maged design effort
provided by Carollo engineers and R&W and serves as a construction manager for the City of
Hillsboro Water Department. The project is expected to be finalized by April of 2016.
For transferring all existing water services of major City of Hillsboro water department lwater
services Improvement
This $ 5,000,000 Second Tunnel construction project consisted of 36-inch, 2200 feet long HDD installed
steel pipe, designed by Jacobs Engineering was successfully completed in Spring of 2015. System
hydraulics, between the Water Treatment Plant and the City of McMinnville ( L= 10 mile of dual transmission
mains), their operational requirements and design of 36-inch L= 700 feet long ductile iron pipe, upper and
lower pipe interties consisting of automated valves and flow control equipment was provided by Nesh
Mucibabic, PE of HDR.
