9. Typical food in Argentina
• Today, beef is served in many ways. Bife a caballo (beef on horseback) is
steak topped with an egg.
• Parrillada is blood sausage, ribs and other meat grilled together.
• Churrasco is grilled steak and milanesa is deep-fried breaded beef. It is
common for Argentinians to socialise over an asado, beef roast barbecued
over an open fire.
• Many restaurants offer asado con cuero, whole beef roasted complete
with hide and hair.
11. Colombia
• Ajiaco: It includes chicken, two (preferably
three) kinds of potatoes, corn, sour cream,
capers, avocado and guasca.
12. Australia
• Australian Meat Pie. Typically, an Australian
meat pie contains minced meat with some
gravy. It is also served with onions.
13. Spain
• The Spanish omelette or Spanish tortilla, also
called simply tortilla in English. It is a typically
Spanish dish consisting of a thick egg omelette
made with potatoes and fried in olive oil.

• Risotto: many types of risotto contain
Parmesan cheese, butter, and onion. It is one
of the most common ways of cooking rice in
Italy.
