Introduction
Google Chrome OS is Linux based OS
Google Chrome is an open source, lightweight OS.
It is based on the concept of “cloud computing” and different
programs of the internet

On November 19,2009 Google released Chrome OS
code as Chromium OS Project
On January 25,2010,Google posted notes , images &
video of a conceptual design showing how Chrome
OS interface
In March 2010, Google indicated that two versions of
the OS, a consumer version & an enterprise version
are being developed.
