AUDIENCE?
 MY TARGET AUDIENCE WOULD BE YOUNG, MALE
ADULTS, AGED 15-27.
 Typically, this age group would like films such as
Scream, Final Destination and Friday 13th.
 This age group is usually still in education or in
bottom level jobs.
 Actors/Actresses that this demographic are
particular too include: Brad Pitt and Jessica
Stroup

4. Why do they like these films?
 Dark Skies
 The Woman in Black
 Nightmare on Elm Street
 The Purge
 World War Z
 Insidious
 The Cabin in the Woods
 Texas Chainsaw Massacre
 Paranormal Activity
 These films are all Horror films.
All of these films feature jump
scares in them. A lot of them
could be classed as
psychological horrors, films
that try to scare you by
playing with your mind.
 A lot of these films feature
psychopaths and intense
music.

target audience?
 Female Lead:
A female lead would appeal
to my target audience
because my target audience
is male.
 Intense Music:
A lot of horror films have really
intense music to convey the
feeling of horror to the
audience, we will do the
same.
 Simple plot
Most horror fims have a
simplistic plot. This is because
over-complicated plots tend
to take away from the film.
