This document provides an overview and storyboards for an online course titled "Cutting Edge Presentations: Using PowerPoint 2007". The course is designed for instructional systems specialists and interns and teaches students how to utilize PowerPoint 2007 features to design effective presentations. The course is divided into two modules, with the first focusing on basic navigation and design principles and the second covering advanced customization techniques. Each module uses tutorials, assessments, and a final project to ensure students learn to use PowerPoint 2007 to create professional presentations.

3. OVERVIEW
Program Title: Cutting Edge Presentations: Using PowerPoint 2007
Level: Adult learners
Major Goal: Students will be able to utilize the PowerPoint 2007 interface to design, create,
and save a presentation.
Time: 60 min
System Requirements: Microsoft Windows Vista, internet connectivity, Flash player 9, audio card with
speakers or headphones, PowerPoint 2007 and dual monitors (optional).
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Target Audience:
This course will initially be targeting entry level training development interns. Interns are required to produce
a PowerPoint presentation every two weeks outlining the current status of their professional development.
The skill level for PowerPoint is varied among the interns and ranges from no experience to expert, hence the
adoption of a modular design to accommodate specific learner needs. This course will also serve as an
enduring reach back capability for former interns and other working professionals in the training development
arena within our organization. Culminating project will be the performance based assessment .
