8. 1.
The audience understand simple language. Spare
them from the technical gibberish.
I noticed that Apple presented all the technical jargon behind big and attractive
simple descriptions. (eg. Screen resolution isn’t mentioned instead of which things
like “Retina display ”) are used.

10. The most efficient and tested way of marketing a
brand!
The picture says it all :DD
11. My strategic management sir once asked, ‘When
does a customer buy a product?’
The answer simply was ‘When they perceive that they get more
value than what they pay for’
12. Simple here means simple to use and not simple
in build. This kind of simplicity can only be
achieved by a very complex back end.
That’s been one of my
mantras – focus and
simplicity. Simple can be
harder than complex. You
have to work hard to get your
thinking clean to make it
simple. But its worth it in the
end because once you get
there, you can move
mountains.
13. If you want a cult like following for your brand,
then make sure you have great after sale
relationship with your consumers!
14. How many people wait for Apple to announce
it’s next product? -Many
How many times have Apple designs been
“leaked”? -Many
15. Product = Iphone or Ipod or Ipad
Experience = The STORY of buying the product
16.
17. Apple has always been at the forefront of innovation. As we discussed earlier,
innovation is what Apple stands for. It’s their business. No one can really
compare to Apple in terms of innovation. They have been revolutionizing the
way technology is integrated into everyone’s daily lives since the making of
their first PC.
What more can I really add to the fact that their
tagline says ‘Think different’? :D
18. The iPod launched Apple’s name as an innovator. Music could now be listened
to on a portable and compact device which until then wasn’t available. If we
remember Steve Jobs iPhone release speech, we can recall that he made it
very clear that he was combining three things – a phone, an iPod and a web
browser - in one device. From the release of the iPod, there has been no
looking back for Apple. They have made a name in the tablet market as well
where their iPad stood out and delivered extraordinary results. This here in
short, is how Apple came from iPod to iPhone.
A pic of the speech Jobs gave to introduce the first
iPhone. I suggest you watch it. Amazing how he did it <3
19. It is true that it’s been awhile since Apple really introduced any revolutionary
product. The last one was the iPad. Though few intermediary products like the
iWatch were released, nothing revolutionary. Right now they are focusing on
innovating again. And as it is Apple, it’s really hard to say what they are upto
next! But as on date the movement in technology seems to be moving
towards VR.
(If you are wondering what the date today is, it is 19/07/2017)
