1. Anthropology Summer Project: AS
Objective: to objective of the summer project as AS level is to familiarize students
with the differing strands of Anthropology.
Due date: First lesson of Anthropology in September.
Task: Your task consists of three elements:
1. Find out the difference between social, biological and economic
Anthropology.
You may want to write a paragraph on each of these topics and also include
any of the key theorists or ethnographic studies.
2. You should explore how women are treated differently in two different
tribes. Then answer this question in no more than 500 words: ‘Are women
treated universally around the World?’ you should make reference to the Na
Tribe and the Massai and any other sources.
