“The Ugly Truth ….
Just reading is Ignorance, act is to react.”
Director’s Message
I have treated thousand of
patients suffering from drug
addiction, emotional problems
and behavioral problems. Many
of them have attempted suicide
and many were suffering from
other psychological problems.
An alarming percentage of these patients were under the age of
18. The predominant issue which I found most common amongst
these children suffering from different problems was lack of
awareness and understanding of how to deal with such mental,
physical and developmental issues.
I felt that in the current scenario, children are heading towards
youth blind folded... if they reach their goal safely then they are
lucky but if they meet with an accident then they are held
responsible and blamed for it. Hence we are taking a step ahead
in the field of treatment and care. We want to enhance their vision
so that they will have a safe journey of life and enter into adulthood
as mature, aware individuals, who are equipped to manage and
overcome all the challenges of life.

In todays arena we find that education in our country is stereotyped and primarily
caters to external challenges of life, employment or profession.
While in recent years there have been a number of welcome changes in school
curriculum, but important issues like coping with increasing stress, developing the
ability to manage relationships with parents, developing a healthy lifestyle, dealing
with the Menace of alcohol and drugs, internet and mobile addiction, terrorism in the
modern world and how to be safe are yet to be addressed by the individuals.
A robust, activity- based curriculum that addresses the need to develop the internal world of
a child is critically missing in today's school education.

Soulgate education has developed a first of its kind, comprehensive life
skill program in the country that aims at holding your child's hand and
guiding him/her through the tender, impressionable and difficult
childhood and adolescent years.
Our programme that has been developed by leading practitioners,
doctors, psychiatrists and psychologists who in reality are treating these
problems, will help children imbibe skills and hands-on knowledge that
will help them emerge as a winner in the arduous journey of life.
The commonest and the single most important
primary reason for these mishaps is LACK OF
AWARENESS/EDUCATION.

THE SOULGATE LIFE SKILL EDUCATION
PROGRAMME
The Soulgate Pedagogy focuses on four-pillars of activity
and enquiry- based learning.
The soulgate comprehensive life skill education programme revolves around
building awareness and basic skills sets around six primary areas.
The programme starts from the primary classes and continues for children through
their middle and senior classes. The pedagogy has been designed in a manner to
encourage children to reflect what they learn in their everyday school curriculum
and build basic awareness and skill sets in a language that they are familiar with.
The activity based pedagogy has been developed keeping in mind the age,
environment and need of the child.
1. Encourage reflective thoughts and action.
2. Making connection to prior learning experience
3. Teaching as an enquiry
4. Learning based pedagogy
This will be done through questions that encourage reflection for inquiry learning, task
design, modeling and coaching.
That everything new is interpreted in the light of what is already known.
The facilitators would be leveraging Teaching as an enquiry.
That leverages world-class digital technologies that encourage discussion, records learning
progress, facilitates feedback, and provides evidence for assessments.

Different topics will be covered according to a well-designed learning
programme that will be customized to the learners in question. The
