Water becomes polluted mainly from chemical and waste dumping in to rivers, canals, and back
waters.
Toxic and solid waste from industries, heavy use of plastic bags, mining of sand from rivers, and
lakes etc lead to land pollution.
Heavy sounds from running factories and vehicles are a serious health problem.
Noise pollution can be responsible for many diseases like loss of hearing, disorder etc.
Pollution control results in many other benefits like clear visibility, cleaner buildings, better
quality of life, and the availability of natural products in purer form.
