“Consciousness is experience of all kinds of social
interaction ever since the time you were born.

since it was founded. The aimag has developed
infrastructure and people come and go through
here”.

are mostly at the age of 40.They are taking responsible for over 300 kilometers
of railway. So therefore the 3rd Choir station is one of the important branches of
UB railway.
Lately there has been raised big issues about #CONSCIOUSNESS among youths.
In my point of view consciousness is respecting the elders and their parents. It’s
all about having positive thoughts on life and live that way.
For youths working at railway station, consciousness should be understood as to
surpassacustomer’sexpectation.It’salsorightamountofconsciousnesslevelfor
youth to ensure passengers rail safety and labor safety.

Consciousness exists in our mind. One doesn’t have to be
educated to be conscious but an educated person must
have consciousness. Obviously everyone has a different
opinion about consciousness. It can be defined by the
individuals capabilities. I tend to think that anyone with
conscious mind accepts their mistakes and don’t repeat
them again.Consciousness is such simple thing, it starts
with not coming late for work and greeting warmly to
your colleagues.
Youths should cherish their country, job, family and
themselves. Otherwise our tradition will be forgotten
overtime. The time has come to fight for ourselves not just
for yourself. If we can set this mentality in a Mongolian
youths mind then development of our country will
come closer. Filtering right and wrongs in our mind and
making it into actions as result is the only thing that
differs as from animal.
DR URTNASAN.N (PHD),THE DIRECTOR OF
NATIONAL COMMITTEE OF MONGOLIA IN
INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL OF ICOMOS
MEMORIAL GALLERY
Consciousness is simply caring about others. To earn that
youths should be caring about their country, respecting
the elders and learning more about values of soul.
They need more intellectual skills and knowledge.Youths
today are at unlimited liberty and it need to be used for
right things.
It’s a good thing we are raising topics about Mongolian
consciousness. Because maturity and knowledge of
individuals are all connected to society and nature.
Mongolian consciousness is to initiate something
valuable, be conscious about it and make it into belief.
4. MYF -VIEWPOINT
Consciousness comes from the fact of being alive. It is
accentuated in humans in our ability to think, to question
the status quo and to desire to change our surroundings. In
theWest, high school students learn of Descartes’17th
century statement:“Je pense, donc je suis”(“I think,
therefore I am”). If we are not aware of our own existence,
do we truly exist? Makes your brain hurt just to think about
it, doesn’t it?Well, that is why I think consciousness is a
mental exercise that can be developed and improved.
I believe consciousness is developed, quite naturally, as we
grow older, as our brains mature and as we gain
experiences. But it is also a matter of training, of education,
and not just the formal kind. Consciousness is encouraged
by a parent teaching empathy, pushing a child to put
themselves in another’s shoes, a skill scientists have not
quite yet pinned down in other animals, or so I believe. It
is developed through critical thinking, where we do not
navigate our every day lives like robots, but rather, seeking
to improve our living conditions.
A person who has developed consciousness is, to me,
passionate for change yet simultaneously appreciative and
accepting of the present. He/she is attentive to others and
open to diverging views because these push their
awareness to greater bounds. For me, the contrary of a
conscious person is an ignorant one, one who spends his/her
days disliking and rejecting what they do not understand
and what is different.
Yesterday, a man from my university in Quebec City,
Canada, shot and killed 6 people because they were
different. Ignorance has bred hate and fear in North
America. That is why to create more conscious citizens,
it is necessary to have positive leaders that promote free
thought and who know how to listen. It is necessary to
pursue the truth rather than resort to simple sound bites. It
is necessary to encourage education and to be exposed to
communities and people that think differently.
I’ve only been in Mongolia for 5 months, but I can safely say
that I have never before experienced such heartwarming
welcomes as I have here. I am a stranger, yet sitting in front
of me are families who are proud to show me their culture
and who are curious to know mine. It seems to me that the
nomadic culture has pushed Mongolians to travel quite a
lot, may it be according to their herder lifestyle, to study in
Russia, Ukraine or the US, or to work in the UAE. Speaking
a second or third language is common for Mongolians. I
am often asked to share the‘Canadian Experience’which
could be an indicator that Mongolians are putting their own
system into question and constantly trying to improve it by
learning about others’mistakes and successes.
There is an incredible openness to change in Mongolia.
Things move fast on the national level. I’ve noticed how
well constructive criticism is received. I think these are all
indicators of consciousness.
The most important element in creating conscious citizens is
a young and still developing mind.Yet, theWorld Economic
Forum’s Human Capital Report of 2013 ranked Mongolia
115th out of 122 countries for the quality of its education
system which, it claims, does not sufficiently encourage
critical thinking (Mongolia Human Development Report,
2016: page 55). Having studied a few years in the Indian
school system as a young child, I remember learning the
main imports and exports of certain countries for my exam
without even knowing what imports and exports were in
the first place! I wish not debate the different school
systems because they each have their advantages and
disadvantages. But my point is that teaching young people
to have minds of their own, to know how to organize their
own thoughts and respect those of others, is crucial to
creating more conscious human beings.

FOR CONSCIOUSNESS
Are unconscious actions
and humans causing
troubles in today’s society?

non-verbal way from the soul.
2. Consciousness is just a simple thing that can be
expressed by your actions. If you don’t abandon your ego
you can’t obtain full consciousness.
3.Youths today starting to imitate foreign culture a lot.
Accordingly our traditional values are about to be
endangered. So you need to set your consciousness right
from the base.
4. Everyone’s life is depending on others lives. If others life
is not happy then neither yours. So spread more happiness.
5. Once you set your consciousness right from the
beginning, others will come accordingly.
