Introduction
The name of our app is Rail PT . It has happened so
many times that you have been waiting on railway
station for some train to arrive and you don’t have any
exact information about train timing and other stuff in
case of delay. Infact, people don’t have the exact
amount of delay happening in the train. So here we
present you a project on Railway Tracking and Arrival
Time Prediction. Using Rail PT user’s can get the
information about train timing, and is it on time or not,
and other information. In this system, will track the
train timing at what time train departed from a
particular station and pass these timing details to other
station’s system where it will display the timing
according to train departed from previous station. If
system will find any delay in train due to any problem.
The supervisor will update the train timing in next
station and will be displayed to viewers.

Often people faces a lot of problems regarding the
timings of the trains especially in winter trains get
late because of fog, So the people have to wait for
unexpected hours sitting at the railway station.
This is the very major issue which should be
resolved as soon as possible. The previously made
applications were not up to the mark, new stations
are not added and the data is not up to the mark.
The further more issue is that they are throwing a
lot of ads as the people use these type of apps in
emergency. The customers who uses this app are
the passengers who are travelling. The official
railway management can use our research and
information in future use.

Objectives
Our objective is to provide accurate and best
services to the customer which will be feasible to
them all. Including an updated live tracking of the
trains their arrival time predictions and also
removing adds from this app which will help
customer to save their time. It will also be helpful
for the railway staff to keep track at all station. As
once we enter data through the admin portal it will
be available at all the stations and it will be also
shown easily to the supervisors, So they can add
delay between the timings of trains which might
happen duo to any technical fault or some natural
happening.

Many companies tried to make an efficient and
precise application for tracking trains but in
Pakistan there are only one or two application
made regarding this issue but there are several
issues in their app which we will try to resolve in
our project some of the major issues are discuss
below.

Methodology
It is very important step in which we are
discussing about our project development
methodologies. we will also tell the skills we are
using to create this app. We are developing the
mobile app of railway tracking and arrival
prediction using REACT NATIVE frontend and
the backend using Node Js and moongo db . The
frontend includes the admin portal and supervisor
portal and also the details of train incoming and
outgoing. at the backend side we are storing the
details of which admin is inserting which includes
the Halt stations and timings of the train arrival on
the stations.
