Pre-Requisite for UBR C5X Radio commissioning
• Verification of the correct and desire material received in hand from WH
i. Antenna (16dbi/20dbi/25dbi) as per link distance
ii. All electronics and IRM as per BOM
iii. PoE variant (AC/DC) as per power availability on sites
iv. Cat6 cable length as per requirement
• Link Budget from Planning team
• User needs to note and convert the MAC Add to LLA of both radios
http://www.sput.nl/internet/ipv6/ll-mac.html
– Rec. User must prepare note of dashboard before physical installation and keep shared/handy with concern field engineer

C5x Login procedure
• User Laptop must be with IPv6 enable/ Network IP change rights
• All factory C5X units were “Access Point” by default & IPv4 of 192.168.1.20
Using LLA
1. Connect the Radio “IN” port to Laptop and confirm the ETH connection is
through (ideally with negotiation of 1gbps)
2. Ping the LLA IP and minimise the cmd window rather closing (result should be positive
to proceed further)
Using IPv4
1. Configure the laptop IP with 192.168.1.23 255.255.255.0
2. Connect the Radio “IN” port to Laptop and confirm the ETH connection is
through (ideally with negotiation of 1gbps)
3. Ping the IPv4 default IP (192.168.1.20) and minimise the cmd window rather
closing (result should be positive to proceed further)

DISTANCE
Based on the link distance user can
decide the power
C5x Commissioning – Access Point
SSID - The wireless link name advertised by each detected AP.
Vendor - The name of the device manufacturer (if known).
MAC Address - The device's unique identifier.
Capability - Indicates which 802.11 (Wi-Fi technology standard) is support by the device. Options include A, G, N, AC.
Frequency Channel - Lists the channel on which the device operates.
Channel Width (MHz) - The size of the channel on which the device operates.
Frequency Range - The specific frequency range (in MHz) within the channel that the device operates.
SRS - Displays the TDMA settings for IBridge C5x radios.
Signal Strength (dBm) - The received power level (in dBm) from each detected AP.
Note: The Site Survey will temporarily interrupt your link. Once started, this process cannot be stopped until complete.
Use the Start Survey button to place the radio into the scan mode to search for 802.11-compatible access points.

To achieve best results now user can go to Aiming Window for physical
alignment of the link
Live RSL would be captured once antenna aligned in desire direction
User needs to get the desire RSL also considering best PHY rate values
displaying
Once achieved user can go back to Dashboard for rest configuration of STA
by clicking on DASHBOARD
C5x Commissioning - Station
On unsatisfactory result of RSL and rate user can again analyze the
Spectrum by clicking on ”COMBINE” status
Can toggle the frequency band to achieve best suitable RSL
Note: Frequency selection would be only from AP now as link is established
C5x Commissioning - Station
Post achieving the desire results now STA also can be configured with…
