the file include on Numerical problems of class 9th Physics subject. In this slides i talk about numerical problem#2.3-2.4. for the presentation of this you can also check my youtube channel.

2. Data: vi=10m/s a=0.2m/s2 t=1/2 min = 30s
Find: vf=? S=?
Formula: vf=vi+at
Vf= 10m/s+(0.2m/s2)(30s) = 10m/s + 6m/s
Vf= 16m/s
Now, S= Vit+1/2at2
S= 10(30) + ½ (0.2)(900)
S= 300+90
S= 390m
P#2.3. A car has velocity of 10m/s-2 it
accelerate at 0.2m/s 2 for half minute.
Find the distance traveled during this
time and the final velocity of the car.
3. Data: vi = 30m/s , t = 3s, vf = 0 , a=-g= -10m/s2
Find: S=? , t=?
Formula: S= Vit+1/2at2
Here, total displacement =0 (when ball returns back)
0 = (30) t – ½ 10 t2
0 = t (30-5t)
This gives either, t=0, or
30-5t=0
t=30/5 = 6 sec
So required time is t= 6sec
P#2.4. A tennis ball is hit vertically upward with a
velocity of 30m/s. It takes 3s to reach the highest
point. Calculate the maximum height reached by the
ball. How long it will take to return to ground?
