Travel & Tours presents the MT CHARLESTON GREEN JAZZ FESTIVAL
at The Resort on Mt Charleston, August 13 – 15, 2010. The fun filled
weekend will kick off the first Green Jazz Series on Mt Charleston. The
resort is located in the mountains, 45 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip;
where the temperature is 20 degrees cooler than the Las Vegas valley.
The Mt Charleston Green Jazz Festival is more than a music festival. It
incorporates environmental awareness, education, sustainability
initiatives, and community outreach.
The 3 day Jazz Festival will offer great music, good food, workshops and
shopping. Friday night performances 7:00 p.m. – 11 p.m., Saturday
performances 2:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. and Sunday Jazz Brunch 11:00 a.m. to
3:00 p.m. Party after the concert on Friday and Saturday with DJ Mark
Mellow D. Music lovers will also have the opportunity to take part in Green
Living Workshops on solar usage conducted by Bombard Renewable
Energy. Water conservation programs and energy efficient products will
be on display.
Jazz Festivals, gambling and fine dining, Las Vegas offers something for
everyone.
